In the name of God Most Gracious Most Merciful

We gather here on this great day to commemorate the seal of the prophets Mohammed’s (PBUH) birthday.

He is the prophet of the world whom has been sent by Allah as a warning to people. We meet on this historical day to underscore its meaning.

The weather is cold today; I therefore do not want to prolong the talk this time. We will end this address (God Willing) before Maghreb (sunset) prayer is due, so we can pray together.

I would like to take the opportunity on this occasion in attendance of our guests from the Islamic world (leaders, nobles, kings, princes, sultans, and scholars from around the world) to highlight certain issues that I deem important.

First of all, the Islamic world has been put on the accusation stand i.e. put on trial in the name of terrorism. The enemies of Islam look upon work that does not promote peace as terrorism. We would like to clarify to the world the vast difference between terrorism and jihad and even armed strife.

Their desire was to eliminate Jihad ...to petrify the religious obligation of jihad in Muslims. They want Muslims to stop striving because they consider that terrorism. This misconception between terrorism, jihad and armed strife is intended to terrorize us Muslims so we do not defend ourselves.

They demolish mosques in Switzerland and we say nothing, they demolish the Aqsa Mosque and we say nothing; they commit sacrilege against us and we say nothing; they raid our homes and we say nothing because any reaction from the Muslims will be regarded terrorism.

We want to illustrate the vast difference between terrorism and jihad. We will not abandon jihad because it is a religious obligation. Jihad is a religious obligation and a form of self- and religious defense; striving for the sake of God; Jihad is to defend the Prophet (PBUH), the Qur’an, Mosques, the Houses of God, the Aqsa Mosque and to defend our independence.

All of us, though, reject terrorism, just like we reject confusing jihad with terrorism.

What has to be absolutely clear is that the terrorism that is practiced by “Al Qaeda” and the killing groups that “Ayman Al-Zuwahiri” mobilizes is criminal. And this type of criminal act is a form of disease, a psychological illness and involves duping the youth .As there are some youth that think that these types of criminal acts are Jihad.

This is terrorism, this is not jihad. Killing Muslims is not jihad, killing your fellow countrymen and those who follow your sect or religion is an act of disbelief ...utter disbelief, not jihad.

What has to be very clear is that: detaining hostages, dealing drugs, human trafficking, highway robbery, bank heists, smuggling money, terrorizing those who live peacefully in Islamic countries are all acts of terrorism.

The killing gangs that claim being part of (Al Qaeda) are criminals, all of us are against them and their actions that have disparaged Islam.

But, confusing between the types of things carried out by those gangs that are part of Al Qaeda is what we need to clarify today.

Jihad is called for against those who destroy the mosques of God. If Switzerland bordered us we would have fought it because it demolished God’s mosques. Jihad is called for against those who demolished God’s mosques and destroyed the minarets; this would have been Jihad not terrorism.

God says: {" those who strive, with their property and their selves."} (4:95). Jihad by using ones wealth is not terrorism.

Does Al Qaeda fight with wealth? Al Qaeda confiscates money; Ayman Al-Zuwahiry’s killing gangs do not strive with wealth. They actually kill people to obtain their money.

What does the verse “strive with your wealth and selves” mean? It means that Jihad is different from terrorism. If you strive against Switzerland; against Zionism, against foreign aggression with your wealth if you cannot with your selves: is this terrorism? No, it is not.

It needs to be clear what Jihad means: the sacred strife in Palestine is jihad and not terrorism. The difference between Palestinian strife and terrorism is like the difference between heaven and earth. This is an occupied land, its people are detained, fighting for their liberation from Zionist jails; striving in order to return to their villages occupied since 1945 and 1967; fighting to go back to their homes, their farms that have been occupied. This is a Mujahid (one who performs jihad) this is a sacred strife.

The absurd masquerade, arrogance and transgression have gotten to the point that whoever fights for his occupied land is considered a terrorist. If Syria fought in order to reclaim the Golan heights they will say this is terrorism. Unbelievable!

Are not the killing gangs that are assassinating the Palestinians everywhere considered terrorism? Is not destroying homes filled with innocent people terrorism? It is one of the ugliest forms of terrorism. Our defeatism and submission has reached the point that defending occupied land is considered terrorism.

Any Muslim who buys Swiss products is giving aid to the disbelievers. Inform Muslims all over the Islamic world, that any Muslim who deals with Switzerland is giving aid to disbelievers. All this is against Islam, Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), God and the Qur’an. Jihad in all its forms has to be called for against the atheist, degenerate Switzerland. Boycott Switzerland, its products, airlines, ships, and embassies. Boycott these degenerate infidels that are transgressing against the houses of God.

They have made despicable portrayals of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) in their newspapers, and the Islamic world is silently watching. Anyone who has relations with Switzerland buys their products, supports them, receives tourists from their country, allows their air planes to land in their airports, their ships to their harbors, and hosts their embassies will be dealing with people who had made vile portrayals of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) in their newspapers, {" They were that day nearer to disbelief than to faith"} ( Al-Imran 167).

It is the duty of every Muslim to boycott them. Muslims collectively have to enjoin upon airports not to allow their planes to land there; Swiss ships should not be allowed into their harbors ; their products should be banned from stores and markets .The Swiss should find in you Muslims a resolved firmness ...Allah says:{ " let them find a firmness in you"} ( Al-Tawba 123).They should not find leniency and submission.

Boycott those who printed despicable portrayals of the Prophet (PBUH). Sever relations with those who have destroyed the Aqsa Mosque: For, whoever deals with them and embraces them is not part of Islam.

They try to scare us with “terrorism”...we are against terrorism, against Al Qaeda; against Ayman Al-Zuwahiri’s gangs ; against the youth who have been radicalized and duped into killing their families.

In short, this is the difference between terrorism and jihad .We reject terrorism but we will not abandon Jihad.

The second issue in brief is: the issue of the Sunnis and Shiites, this is an innovation.

Did Mohammed (PBUH) whom we are here today celebrating his birthday ever differentiate and say there is such a thing as “Sunnis” “Shiites” or even “Madhahib” (different schools of jurisprudence)?

Is there such a thing as Sunni religion or Shiite religion? Where did this innovation originate from? It is an absolute must that we talk sense to the Muslims so that they can realize that differentiating between Sunnis and Shiites is something that was imposed on Islam. Sunnis and Shiites are out of Islam. What kind of nonsense is this!?

If you ask one of them “what are you?” he replies: “a Sunni”, and you ask another person and he says “a Shiite”. Then these two are part of one religion and they complement one another; they are two halves of one whole and Islam is lost amongst them. Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) did not make a distinction between such a thing as Sunnis or Shiites.

Also, mosques suffer the same fate; one mosque is Sunni and one mosque is Shiite...unbelievable! It’s a complete and utter sabotage of belief and straying away from Islam.

Whoever does not want to have anything to do with Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) or Islam; Islam, Allah, Mohamed and we do not want any association with them either.

Therefore, if you claim that you are a Muslim and you say “I am a Sunni” or “I am a Shiite” or “I follow a certain Madhab” these are innovations that are prohibited in the Qur’an.

Further, let us dwell upon this verse Allah says: {"do not follow the example of those who became divided and differed with one another after clear proofs had come to them. For those, there is a great punishment"} (Al-Imran 105) .Those who set demarcations between Sunni, Shiite ,or Madhahib in Islam will be severely punished.

We follow the sunnah of Prophet Mohammed ( PBUH) . By sunnah we mean the actions and traditions of the Prophet (PBUH) that we are certain he performed; and we therefore will follow and apply regardless if we were in Iran or Marrakech. Does a Muslim in Iran reject the Prophet's sunnah? He does not and if he did then he is not a Muslim.

This is a complete and utter sabotage (of Islam). Allah (the Most High) says: {"do not follow the example of those who became divided and differed with one another after clear proofs had come to them. For those, there is a great punishment"} (Al-Imran 105). Those who have caused contention after clear signs were sent to them; after the Qur’an and Prophet Mohammed was sent to them; will be severely punished.

Allah says: {"you have nothing to do with those who have made divisions in their religion and become sects. Their affair is with Allah and he will inform them of what they have done"} (Al-Anaam 159). It is very clear from these verses that Prophet Mohammad will disown those who have divided their religion and created Shiites and sects. And, this is not something Mu’ammar Al-Qaddafi is claiming, this is what Allah said: {"you have nothing to do with those who have made divisions"}. For, these individuals created divisions in the deen (religion) by being a Sunni, a Shiite, or by belonging to a certain Madhab.

Allah (the Most High) in the Qur’an asks Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) to disown these individuals because they have contradicted Allah's orders :{" establish the religion and do not be divided therein"} (Al-Shura 13). Anyone who does this today is acting against Allah.

Do not follow the path the polytheists took. Just imagine that your actions will be like that of the polytheists who :{" divided their religion and were sects (Shiites), every sect elated with what they have (followed)"}. Each group contentedly following the Sunni path, or the Shiite or a particular Madhab or sect. God asks them to not contentedly follow the polytheists for it is incorrect and they will end up in the Hell-Fire.

The last point that I would like to hit upon concerns the OIC (Organization of Islamic Conferences). Next year we will convene in Egypt, and since its secretary is with us today I would like to propose to the OIC a new vision; a new framework and a new action plan for the Islamic World. An Islamic Union, an economic, military, security, political and social Islamic power has to be formed. From here on forwards I will work towards bringing forth this idea because things have become very clear and lucid in this world.

Actually, Christianity is represented by Europe. Europe formed the European Union and the "NATO"; the North Atlantic Treaty Organization is a Christian alliance. They can do as they please for they belong to one religion –Christianity; they all believe in Jesus ( PBUH).

This Christian nation -which comprises a major part of the world- united under the European Union; secured itself by the "NATO" forces united on the premises of religion. Israel is supported because it is built upon the premises of religion; a belief –Judaism.

Further, where Buddhism and Hinduism formed big nuclear entities and China and India are nuclear powers; the Muslims remain weak and submissive. Their mosques are destroyed, they are transgressed upon and they rendered jihad useless in their defeatism.

The ummah of Mohammed has to rise and assume its proper place in the world; like the Christian, Hindu, Buddhist and Jewish Nation.

The Vatican, the Catholics even the Protestants and the Orthodox do not consider Latin Americans, Africans, and Eurasians as being Christians. They are looked upon as being closer to Islam than Christianity. We, therefore, cannot claim that there are Christian countries in Africa. For, the form of Christianity that exists in Africa is pedagogical that has been established by the colonizers who merely taught children rituals of Christianity. Christianity has no roots in Africa and Jesus was not sent to them.

The same applies to Latin America that was colonized by Spain who taught them Christianity. Christianity in Africa, Latin America and Eurasia is not recognized.

Actually the world can be mapped out as the following:

* A Christian nation that comprises the European Union and is protected by the "NATO" because the USA follows the Protestant form of Christianity.

* The Jews are as you see today

* Hindus in India

* Buddhists in the Far East

While as the Muslims remain in a sorry state.

With us today is our brother the Chechen President and we always advise our brother in Chechnya that it is better for a Muslim Chechen to be a Russian citizen in a great nuclear power than to be a citizen of a weak dwarf country that is of no consequence. The Prophet (PBUH) says:" A strong believer is better than a weak believer". When the Chechns are part of a Russian Union they will be part of a strong nuclear country; where a Chechen Muslim may become the President of the Russian Union.

What therefore is the use of the separation in Chechnya? We want Chechnya to be part of the Russian Union so the Muslim can live with honor and dignity as part of a great nuclear power.

I extend the same advice to the Chinese Muslims; they should remain part of a strong country –The Great China. We are against any separatist movements that will weaken the Muslims. Even in the Philippines, when Muslims remain part of it, a Muslim may become the President. As for Mindanao on its own is worth nothing.

And given the fact that we are all gathered here today (this conglomeration of political and religious leaders and Muslim activists) celebrating the Seal of the Prophets’ Birthday, we need to move forward with what we have discussed and spread the word; Allah says: {"proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the disbelievers".}(Al-Hijr 94). It is your duty to publicly assert this issue because "enough is enough"; the transgressions have reached their peak against Islam, the Houses of God and what is sacred.


They will not intimidate us with their propaganda on terrorism anymore. For there is a vast difference between defending Islam and the terrorism practiced by Al Qaeda.

Time need not be wasted anymore with repetitive talk and slogans. We need to mobilize ourselves and work {" and say work and Allah will see your deeds"} and {" strive with your wealth and selves"}.
