In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Our humility on this great day is incomparable. For it is on this day, the 12th of Rabi'il Awal, that the Seal of the Prophets, "Muhammad" peace be upon him was born. Also on this very day, the Seal of the Prophets died. This day is unprecedented in greatness and holiness in the universe.

We call upon all the Islamic nation, and the People's Islamic activists, and not only the Muslim rulers, (but also the rest) to adopt the dating with the death of the Seal of the Prophets, just like the world uses the date of the birth of "Jesus" peace be upon him in its calender.

As of now, we must use the prophet's death calendar in our dealings and everyday life activities.

The birth of "Jesus" is one of the miracles of God, which deserves to be dated with in the world. It is a divine miracle. And it is not specific with particular people. Likewise, the death of the Seal of the Prophets is an unprecedented event we should be dating with.

I, believe, in Libya they have started using this dating.

Today, it is 10th of the month of Rabi'e (Spring) 1377 from the death of the Seal of the Prophets. This does not create any problem. Solar months in (this system)remain as they are with changes in their names, so that the names depict what they actually stand for.

(For instance) The month of 'January' is named 'Ayyi Nar', meaning 'where is the fire'. The month of 'February' named 'Al-Noar' it also depects what it stands for. The seasons in the Muslim world at large are in conformity with these names. The month of March is called the month of Spring, and in actual sense, the first day of March is the first day of the beginning of spring in the region in which the Islamic world is found.

These months are Ayyi-Nar, Al-Noar, Al-Rabi'e. The month of April is called month of 'Al-Tair' in which the birds make their nests, and also migrate, which is a known environmental phenomenon around the world.

And the month of May is called month of Al-Ma'a, since Summer is approaching there is a growing need for water around this time. The month of June is 'As-Sayif' meaning Summer, which is actually the beginning of the summer season in in the central region of the world, where the Islamic world is found.
The month of July, which we date with,is but the name of Julius Caesar.. Caesar of Rome. The Romans named this month in memory of their Emperor: Julius Caesar. It happens that in Libya, we call it the month of Nasser. They call it "July", which is Julius Caesar, and we call it "Nasser"

Augusts or 'August' is "Octavianus" the great Roman Emperor.. It is the name of the Caesar of Rome, one of Rome's czars. We have called it the month of Hannibal; the known hero of Carthage and that's the opposite of the Roman's czars.
The month of September is the month of Fatah, in which the World Islamic Revolution took place.
October is the month of Al-tamour, the time when the dates ripe in the central region of the globe, said to be the time when religious mythologies were revealed; a plow sent down to Adam to start tilling the land, so this is the season of cultivation, "November."
December, which is "Deca", is actually incorrectly written, because 'December' means ten, it is the twelfth month in Europe; the month of December. But Deca means ten. This mistake was let to pass. Because they used to start dating, not from January, but two months after January, which means the month of December became the twelfth month. It was named the Tenth yet, it is not the tenth.
This month is named the month of Al-Kanon. During this time, winter approaches and people start looking for Al-kanon; a stove in which to light fire for warmth. The name was borrowed from Arabic to other languages, in French 'cannon' means a "firearm."

Here we come back to the first month, the month of Ayyinar. So those are the months... We list them as follows: Ayyinar, Al-Noar, Al-Rabi'e, Al-Tuyur, Al-Ma'e,As-Saif, Nasser, Hannibal,Al-Fateh, Al-Tomour, Al-Harith, Al-Kanon, till we get to Ayyinar.

There is no problem with this.

It should be adopted by the Muslim functionalists, atleast until the governments are convinced of its significance, and the world is convinced of the necessity of dating with this date.
So, when we are asked when did the last Prophet die? Did he die in modern times? Or in the middle age? Or prior to that, in the Stone Age, in the pre-writing era or after? Did he die in the twentieth century, or in the nineteenth or the eighteenth centuries – according to the colonialist calendar? Did he die in the twentieth century or in the twenty-first?

It is the right of any person to ask, when the Seal of the Prophets died?

We must give answer to this, and say: On this day, 1377 years have passed since the death of the Seal of the Prophets of God - peace and blessings be upon him.

We have chosen this country – Mauritania, which was known as Shinquit, to celebrate the birthday and death of the Prophet ,the Seal of the Prophets - may Allah bless him. Mauritania is a unique country in the African continent, it has all the features that makes deserve the hosting of the celebration of this universal occasion.

This country has great merit in the propagation of Islam in best way.

Mauritania has presented historical proof to those who say that Islam was forced upon the people, and that it was spread by sword. Mauritania responds through its great history that this is not true, Islam was spread throughout the African continent in peaceful and kind ways. It was spread without swords, without armies, without leaders and warlords.

Unlike Christianity which was spread in the African continent under the umbrella of the European occupation of Africa.Children attending schools were christized under age without knowing. A child, whose parents are Muslims and come from a Muslim family, when he/she joins a colonialist school is baptized without his/her knowledge and also without the knowledge of the parents; without regard of his/her being a minor.
Moreover, the missionary movements in Africa were a prelude to the colonization. The movements grew under colonialism and dominated the African continent; One of the worst eras in the history of mankind .. The era of Slavery and the slave trade. The era of colonization and Christianity.
If Jesus was alive when Muhammad was sent, he would believe in Muhammad. Because Jesus was a Muslim. Moses too was a Muslim, and so were Noah and Ibrahim. They were all Muslims.. God is the one who told us so.
All of them, when they embraced their religions, they announced that they are Muslims religion, and that Muhammad is the Seal of the Prophets.

It is an obligation upon adherents of all the previous religions to follow the religion of Muhammad, because he is the Seal of the Prophets.. This is what God the Almighty has said.
Jesus told them ( his followers), " I bring glad tiding to you of a prophet to come after me, his name is Ahmad". He promised them. Meaning that there is a prophet comming after me that you have to follow.
Jesus told the Christians that 'you have to follow the prophet who will come after me, his name is "Ahmed".
But the Bible in our hands today does not have such a verse.
Therefore, the Bible which is available now is invalid, false, with many verses deleted. It was written in the later ages, after the disappearance of Jesus peace be upon him.
We have no dispute with "Moses", because "Moses" and his followers were Muslims. If they had lived in the time of Mohammed, they too would have become believers in him. There is no dispute with Jesus either.

The dispute is with those who have rejected the call of "Mohammed", yet he is also sent to them. He is sent to the Jews and the Christians, and all the people.

We are not so mindful that the infidels go to heaven, this is their choice .. Let them go to Hell.

We are not feeling sorry for them either, that they are against the Seal of the Prophets.. Mohammed is not a prophet of the Arabs, he is for all people.

Thus, Christianity was spread in Africa. As for Islam, it was spread in Africa from Mauritania, and to all of Western and Central Africa. It was from Mauritania that Islam spread... from the cities of Shinquit, Tishit, Walata or Walaten as was called by Ibn Khaldun. Also from the city of Timbuktu, Islam spread. At that time there were no boundaries between Mali and Mauritania.
These historical cities are of great significance; because they were the beacon of light in the darkness of paganism and ignorance.
Thus, from the historical cities of Mauritania, which I have mentioned, callers to Islam set out to spread the religion of God in Africa.
No armies and tanks and aircraft carriers, No colonialism and cruise missiles, no starvation or terrorism, but groups of preachers who set out in crowds as groups and individuals..

Thus, the light of Islam shone across the world from the city of Shinquit.
Now, when looking at this as a poor country, because the standard measured on material success, as well as earthly and hellish achievements .. They measure success using the firewood of hell.
They do not look at its moral and spiritual values.

Therefore, we have to call on the whole world and the Islamic world in particular, to appreciate Shinquit with its historical and spiritual values and its virtues of spreading Islam, as well as its virtues upon the African nations, which it converted into Islam in a peaceful manner, without wars , without sword.

Later, the Sufi movements played a commendable role in the establishment of Islam and its preservation. their impacts exist in all of these African countries; in the Central and Western and Northern Africa.

The Qadiriya and its various branches such as Fadhiliyah, Al-Mukhtariya and Al-Tijaniyya led by their grand Sheikhs, whom you all know very well, such as "Oti", "Nias" and "Sisse."
And, even now we hear of the names of their descendants in the Sufi movements.
We hear about "Ahmed Nias" a descendant of that great family, which is credited for the dissemination of Islam.
We hear about "Mustapha Sisse" a descendant of this great family, it is now found in Senegal.
We also hear of "Oti" one of the descendants of these sheikhs. Those sheikh are neither are nor millitary commanders.
They are the heroes, but of the word, persuasions,… a strong proof of Islam.

Now we should all start to propagate Islam around the world, because this is an obligation upon us. " Call to the path of thy Lord with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue in a better way." The Qur'an did not say by colonizing others or by sword.

However, what is mentioned in the Quran, as I read out to you in the prayer ((When you meet the disbelievers in battle, strike them in the neck). In this verse, it was the infidels among Quraish in the Arabian Peninsula, who were reffered to here. Those who wanted to block the call in the early stages and kill it in the bud. Therefore, they were supposed to be eliminated without pity or mercy, so that foundation of Islam is firmly established in the Arabian Peninsula.
But after that, Islam is to be spread in the way that is better .. God did not command us to fight others after that.
In all cases, whether they like it or not, the religion of Muhammad shall prevail in the wideworld as God had promised. It shall prevail over all other faiths.

This religion shall overcome all other religions before it, and those religions with coming of Islam become invalid. Their time has gone.

Let ask ourselves: Why did "Jesus" came after "Moses"?.
It was because the era of "Moses" was over, and his faith was invalid then. Therefore another Prophet was supposed to come, and that prophet was Isa. He came with a new law.

But the term of "Jesus" as prophet also ended with the comming of Mohammed, the Seal of the Prophets. What was required of "Jesus" was to convince the Israelites to leave the law of "Moses" and follow him.But they refused, then they were in the wrong.
With the advent of Mohammed, the seal of Prophets, it is pertinent that those who used to beleive in the faith before him leave those religions whose time has ended, and follow Mohammed the Seal of the Prophets.

It is his promise, Allah shall prevail this religion over the rest.

Now as I said, there are tens of millions of Muslims in the European continent, and the number is on increase, meanwhile, the number of the indigenoues Europeans is falling drastically. This is the clear indication that the European continent with time .. in the future, will be converted to Islam. The majority in the continent will be Muslims.

If Turkey joins the European Union, as well as Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, there will be Muslim Nations inside the Christian continent. This is possible, according to God's promise that the religion of Islam shall prevail.
It is possible that God can enable Bosnia, Herzegovina, Albania and Turkey to join European Union and become part of Europe. The Muslims in these countries will spread across Europe, since there are no boundaries and no different visas, as it is the case here.

Tens of millions from Turkey, Albania and Bosnia, will join the Muslim Communities existing in the continents of Asia, Africa and Europe. Little by little their numbers increase as the population of European non-Muslims fall.

Possibly this is the promise of God and it shall be fulfilled. Europe will one day be a Muslim continent.
Likewise, Africa is changing continuously to become a Muslim continent.

In Asia, there are bigger nations that are turning to Islam … Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world... the world shall turn to Islam.
This means that there are religions which have become invalid; they will inevitably be replaced by Islam.

You Muslims, you the followers of Mohammed, should rest assured, God will make this religion prevail in spite of the disbelievers and infidels denial.

On this occasion, in which thousands of the Muslim nations from every continent of the world gather, there are a large number of Ashraf ( the nobles from the Prophet's lineage) are found here. I have made it my duty to see them in the congregation prayers held on this occasion here and in other areas.

It seems like this is the only occasion when the Afraf meet with each other. Because they are persecuted, displaced and dispersed. They have been subjected to harassment after the failure of the armies of "Al-Bait" (the Prophet's Family) to get to Caliphate, that was when "Ma'awiya' overpowered Ali, because Ma'awiya favored Material world over Ali's next world's.


Ma'awiya was arrogant with a cold heart and wanted war. He was cruel in the war, even with Muslims. Ali was obliged to fight back, but was not materialistic like Ma'awiya. Even though, Ali's side was lenient and therefore lost in this war, and Hussein was beheaded.

It was in the era of the Umayyad state, that Ali- Bait started to be harassed and pursued so that they do not crave for the Islamic Caliphate. They dispersed and left the Arabian Peninsula and spread across the world. They arrived in Andalusia and Europe, and dispersed in north of Africa in particular, and in other regions of the world.
Those who remained among them were forced to change their names, just like Muslims in Andalusia were forced to change their Arabic names as well as their religion, in order to stay alive.

Unfortunately, the Ashraf in the Arabian countries and in the Arabian Peninsula were treated in the same way as Muslims were treated in the Iberian peninsula, in Andalusia, in Spain, in Europe.

This is a tragedy that we have to find a remedy. This remedy is the creation of the Fatimid state.

The Fatimid State was the most effective of all Islamic states in the Arab region. It is the only one that lasted for 260 years.

It was also the only State in which people were regarded equally with the Fatimid identity.
It was a State of science, culture and art. It expanded the scope of Islamic nation to Sicily. It covered the Mediterranean sea, to the south of Italy and Southern Europe.
Now in North Africa, we Arabs settled here in pre-Islam call ourselves Amazig , Berbers, Tuaregs, Tubo, Fulani, Hausa and the like. We also call our selves, Tunisian Arab, Algerian Arab, Libyan Arab, Mauritanian Arab, Egyptian Arab, etc. Hijazi Arab, Syrian Arabs… We are also followers of the schools of Malik, Hambali and Shafi.
Other innovations also emerged, such as the Salafist, militant Salafists and Zandaqa.

The Umma became divided into groups and parties, and "each party rejoicing in their own". The nation was weakened, lost its strength and became vulnerable.

Now the venerable remaining sects of the Fatimid state are under persecution, degradation, denial of their rights, ridiculed, and harassed.
All the oppressed Muslim communities are virtually the remnants of the Fatimid state.
If the Fatimid state can rise again, all the oppressed sects, whether in Syria, in the Arabian Peninsula, in north of Africa, will come back to life again, and shall be considered equally with the rest of the Muslims.

Can a Druzi become a head of state in Lebanon? That is impossible. Because Druze is a small persecuted community, and it is one of the remnants of the Fatimid state.

Can any one from the Bahra community become be a president or king in an Arab country? It is not possible. Because it is a small oppressed community, and one of the remnants of the Fatimid state.
Can any one from the ISmaili community govern an Arab country? Not possible, because it is a small community and regarded as infidel.
Can any one from the Zarya become president of a republic in an Arab country? It is not possible.
These are only a few of the persecuted communities, which are all in the Arab and Muslim countries – and are remnants of the Fatimid state.


This persecution should not be let to continue. This is the era of the masses and the era of freedoms, and all of these communities must join hand with the Ashraf to revive the Fatimid state.

I tell you, the work in this regard is progressing well among the intellectuals, thinkers and even politicians and legislators, writers, journalists and the general public, scientists and conscious people, to convince the world of the need for the Fatimid state in North Africa in order to eliminate all the differences and divisions and the dispersion and fragmentation that currently exist, so that the Fatimid identity remains the only identity.

Whether in our time or after us, the Fatimid State shall rise, because people are working day and night to make sure that the state comes into existence in peaceful way, and not by war.
Anytime, we shall announce the salvation; the agreement for the formation of the Fatimid state. When we get the majority of parliaments believing in Fatimid state, majority of ministerial councils, majority of the leaders and the majority of journalists, intellectuals, writers, teachers, who actually believe in the Fatimid state, then the State will automatically rise, and its structures will be formed according to the mechanisms that suit the time.
Do not concern yourself with the ignorant, the apprehensive and the frightened ones, who claim that the Fatimid State, is a State of wickedness and immorality.

This is a shame. The corruption available now was not there in the Fatimid state, the immorality existing now did not exist in the era of the Fatimid state.

After all, is there any state, even the Muslim ones, that can claim to be free from immorality, indecency and corruption?!.

When will the Fatimid state begin? That's is the question. Because it is the state of freedom .. The freedom for youth and freedom for women.

Those who are around now are afraid of the freedom of people's power. They interpret freedom in the Fatimid as immorality and corruption.

They want to say that the immorality existed then, was more than the morality and corruption existing now!

Who can raise his voice against the Fatimid and still be able to clear himself as innocent now?! Who can? !.

All these claims are baseless. They make their arguments, not for any reason, but for fear of the revival of the Fatimid state .. The State of freedom, the state of youth, art, culture and modernity.

The 'Ashraf' - as I said - should not always remain under cover. They should come out to take their rightful place wherever they might be. It is enough of persecution, harassments and marginalization.
Every Sharif should hold hid head high and raise his own name, title and honor. This is their pride. They have to come together from everywhere and in every place, to become a strong movement because they are on the truth


Finally, to all the Tribes of the Great Sahara, which stretches from Iraq and Syria and the Sinai Peninsula to the borders of Senegal and Mauritania, with whom we met in Timbuktu and enacted an historic document.

We should re-read all the statements that we made in Timbuktu and in the document, let us hold to it, and adhere to it.

This is a historical agreement. We said earlier that these tribes and the movement of the Great Saharan tribes have nothing to do with politics, leaders, nor elections and diplomatic issues.

We are the children of the Great Sahara, we have values that we adhere to, we have ideals, and we have the right to freedom of movement without restriction.
But we must pay attention to something very serious within the Sahara. There is smuggling of prohibited materials .. There is human trafficking, arm trafficking, trading in the mines, trading in the migration to Europe. There are also Zandaqa – disbelief, smuggling of drugs and currencies, smuggling of goods. This is found in the Sahara.
It is a shame. It is not part of our ethics, and values. It is also not part of the Covenant which we made before the world, that any one of the sons of the desert can demean himself by involving in such dirty activities.
The Sons of the desert are lions, are the hawks, are the Knights, they are scholars and are honest.

What I ask you now is that I would like to see each and every one of you gets a copy of the Timbuktu document, read it and uphold it.

Through the Secretariat of the tribes of the desert which has been formed, we shall establish contacts with all the dwellers of the desert, and shall fight any form of corruption among us. We shall prove our existence, which might be incomprehensible.

They think that we want to takeover power. For us we have nothing to do with governance. Never .. What can we do with power? It is tarnishing our image.

We are talking about the social life, we want to live free in the Sahara, move freely, live anywhere, trade from place to place and be permitted to participate in legal trade. We want to learn, to support each other in good times and bad ones, and to emphasize our existence, so that we do not open the desert to foreign powers, or foreign bases, or other interventions to take away the resource of the desert.
We have to pay attention to this.

We should all salute the people of Mauritania .. Men and women, young and old, for hosting us, the sons of the desert and of the Islamic world, all those who have come from every deep ravine to celebrate this anniversary, the universal commemoration of the birth and death of the seal of prophets "Mohammed" peace be upon him.
