 Web/Exclusive The Leader of World Islamic People’s Leadership, on Wednesday evening, met at his residence in the Chadian capital N’djamena with Muslim activists, tribal chiefs, traditional kings, Sultans and Ashraf leaders in Chad.
The Chadian Muslim activists comprised the chairman and members of the Islamic Supreme Council in Chad, Muslim clerics, chiefs of Sufi Orders, University Professors and delegates of students, youth and women's associations. During the meeting, over 1050 people embraced Islam and pronounced the testimony of faith. Among the proselytes, there were 52 traditional Kings and tribal chiefs and 200 women. The meeting between the WIPL Leader and the Muslim activists began with the recitation of a few verses of the Holy Qur’an. Then Sheikh Hassan Abkar, chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council in Chad made a speech on behalf of Chadian Muslims; he saluted the WIPL Leader’s pioneering role in championing the cause of justice and peace as well as his due interest in various aspects of Islamic action. He observed that the formation of the World Islamic People’s Leadership has been of significant importance in organizing Muslim Leadership all over the world: “Great achievement is for great men like you. Therefore, on behalf of the Muslim community in this country, I would like to express our thanks and appreciation for the good deed that you have done for us today,” concluded the chairman.
