The office of the Word Islamic Call Society in Freetown, Sierra Leone has organized a Qur'an learning and memorization course in the eastern part of the country. The course, which commenced on May 31, was attended by 250 students.

About 10 mosques in the region hosted the course.
The Muslim functionaries in the region expressed their appreciation to WICS for its interest in the propagation and teaching of the Holy Qur'an.
