This year, which is now coming to an end, has been filled with initiatives and promises of a State of Palestine and questionable dialogues, which all in truth meant to recognize the Zionist entity. But Israel ended all that in a bloody morning when they conducted a massacre in the Gaza Strip in the Occupied Palestine against everything, resulting to hundreds of victims including children, women and elderly; as the world silently witnesses a genocide as never seen before. This is all done amid the silence of the world; the situation now requires a serious stand by the Muslim masses to prevent the massacres. And what makes matters worse is the so-called Arab initiative, which is in essence a conspiracy of silence and complicity of both the Arab and international body, has empowered the Zionists to commit such a heinous massacre.

In continuation of its educational activity, WICS office in The Gambia has organized a course for recitation and memorization of the Holy Qur'an for a number schools across the country. 50 student from about 13 schools took part.
The opening ceremony of the course was attended by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Amin Toure – Chairman of the Gambian Muslim Supreme Council, Sheikh Ahmad Dramey – Principle of Brikama Islamic Institute, Sheikh Omar Quraish, Head of Arabic Studies at the Education Ministry and a number of Muslim figure and personalities across the country.

The offices offer assistance and support development efforts in the communities of underdeveloped countries.
In this regard, WICS’s office in Maputo has undertaken the project of digging a water well at the Abu-Baker-Siddiq mosque in Mronbini town, about 800 km from the capital.
